In My Dream

You came to me last night,
In a dream within a dream,
You reached for me and said
"In my dream..."

I didn't understand,
but I took your hand anyways,
You looked in my eyes,
and wispered,
"extasy..."

I again didn't understand,
but met your gaze never the less.
You smiled and turned your back to me.
You began to walk away.

 I can't recall why, but I didn't want you to leave.
I grabbed on to you tightly.
You laughed, and said.
"Don't fear it..."

You turned to me.
Your eyes were filled with a distant sadness.
I Asked you...
"Fear what?"

 and you replyed...
"The end..."
